Down the path, all you hear is

Birds chirping, waterfalls splashing, wombats digging.

You hear the river swooshing.

You see the leaves floating off the trees,

Ready for the winter water freezing.

As we jump in, the ice breaks.

We see the yabbies run away in fright,

Their shells frozen to their core.

This is the Fairy Dell.

It is so magical,

Like real fairies have come along and made it magic.

I see the water twinkling,

I see yabbies and crayfish catching their dinner,

I wonder what it would be like to live here.

It would be as peaceful as my bed.

I wish I could live here.

It is time for me to leave.

I walk back up the path.

All I can think about is…

... the Fairy Dell.
