The forest

The forest has animals
With a lot of mammals.
Nature is beautiful
The forest is suitable
For people in need.
The forest has shade
And it’s always cool
Mother nature is disappointed 
Of our destructive behaviour
But we can save it,
If we all just quit it.
But the forest brings us together
With campfires and good weather.
The trees rustle
While the possums scuttle
Across the forest floor.
At night I count the stars
And watch them twinkle
Forever,
From afar.
