The Gouldian Finch soars elegantly across the vast, blue sky,

deeply desiring the cosy, tranquil hollow of a welcoming tree,

as I watch silently, clasping my trustworthy binoculars.

The beautiful bird's feathers were nature's gift,

painting a rainbow across the blank, barren sky as it glides effortlessly.

The Gouldian Finch nestles cosily into the comfort of its home,

built by nature from a hollow-bearing tree, as my heart bursts with joy.

The dewy grass carpeting the floor rustles vaguely under my boots,

and a breath of refreshing air reaches my nose,

and recovers me from the irresistable urge to scream in excitement.
