The Great Jacket

It hangs there as still as a statue, while it looks as proud as a lion.
It's as bright as a glowing lamp when it is in the sunlight,
And has some writing on the sides.
It feels like you have a protective layer around you
But getting it on can be hard.
It has two pockets which are as small as an egg
With its blue colour and writing, it looks like the ocean waves
It keeps you warm and comfortable
While you feel like floating around.
Although it can make you hot
I had it as a present
And it was given to me when I was 5 years old
Since then it has been special to me
And It is as great as gold to me.
It can help me concentrate
I like it when my Jacket is around me
Because it gives me comfort and I feel better with it
I could wear it all day
You are like a rare object
And you are as special as a diamond.
