The grey nurse shark,

Big and silent, watching over the ocean like a carer

Silently floating, a smooth grey cloud

Sharp teeth, in rows and rows,

cutting through the wet water,

Gliding with elegance

Holding a mighty presence

Although majestic and peaceful,

Humankind saw danger in their eyes

And so with spear, knife and gun, they were fearfully hunted down

Wrongfully convicted, prisoners of the sea
