The Gum Tree

There are gum trees inside forests,

Everyone loves seeing them, even linguists. 

Gum trees look as old as grandmas,

Which makes them earn a round of applause.

Gum trees can live up to 900 years,

Everyone should give it some cheers.

Gum trees are ever so fragrant, 

When you smell them you’ll think they’re ever so pleasant. 

Gum trees are real sturdy trees,

But it’s not sturdy with disease.

Gum trees are ubiquitous

They will never be iniquitous.

Gum trees are tall trees,

That might make you want to go on your knees.

Gum trees are really magnificent,

Whenever you see them, you’ll be munificent.
