As we run down the turning paths,

We savour the moment as it lasts,

The wind running through our hair,

Our laughs circling through the sea air.

The house we return to up the road,

Smiles and laughs as the sunscreen reloads,

We come here every summer, but we’ll always know,

Friends or family we always put on a show.

Betrayal and happiness is the best memory there,

Water splashes everywhere through the salty air,

Running down the beach going to the lolly shop,

The memories we’re making there, we’re never going to stop.

The waves crash down below the boardwalk,

Running up the giant hill, laughing till we can’t talk,

We come here every summer, but we’ll always know,

Friends or family we always put on a show.
