The Human Tree

In the heart of the forest, a tiny seed was sown,
In the cradle of the earth, the tree had grown,
Its roots reached deep, embracing the land,
A sturdy trunk rose, with branches so grand.
Like a newborn child, the tree thrived and grew,
Standing tall and proud, it was nature's jewel,
It witnessed the seasons, the sun and the rain,
And through it all, it endured every pain.
The air we breathe once fresh and clear,
Now filled with smoke from far and near.
Machinery roared as axes mercilessly swung,
The tree cried silent tears as its brothers fell still young,
So let's plant new seeds, nurture the saplings to grow,
Create sanctuaries, where they can thrive and glow,
Spread awareness, so their voices are heard,
And cherish every tree, with love undeterred.
Together we can halt the plundering storm,
Protect the forests, and let the trees reform,
For in their shade, we find solace and peace,
Let's stand for the trees and let their sorrow cease.
