Prowling in the darkness, the lion roars,

Yawning and moaning as he shuts his eyes.

Under the tree, calmly gaping one last time,

The lion dozes off, into a deep, deep sleep.

Quietly in the background, a chuckle uncovers,

As the hyena quietly roars, camouflaged in the grass.

Creeping up to the lions resting place,

Waiting, waiting, for the right time to pounce.

SNAP!!! The stick broke and ripped the silence,

ROAR!!! The lion went as it woke up furiously.

Who dares to disturb this mighty lion,

Who dares to disturb this veteran of battle.

The poor hyena slowly reverses in fear,

Here comes your nightmare, who is laughing now?

I am sure that you are not now that you shut your mouth.

Lions are vulnerable, but hyenas aren’t.

And I won't be the reason that will make them endangered.

Lions aren’t that bad, unless you harm them,

I beg you, don’t let them go extinct,

Because everyone and everything is equal as it is
