The Koalas Sadness

Climbing up into the eucalyptus tree,

Finding its way to the very top,

Wind bristling through the Koalas hair,

The fire sighted,

Unknowing the danger that approached,

The Koala sat, unsure,

The flames roared across the forest,

Swallowing everything in view,

The fire spread quickly across the dry ground,

Animals in the way stood no chance against such a fierce force,

And soon.. The tree was swallowed along with the Koala.

All around Australia, the same thing was happening,

Animal families being ruined, human families as well,

Innocent Koalas also hunted, and killed by bushfires,

And, to unjust death.
