The Last Photo

One photo to capture a scene forever,
One picture that shows us all together,
All smiling,
All happy,
There were the different smiles,
The fake ones
The crazy ones
The small ones and the somewhat lazy ones,
We all stood on one stage,
Fighting for our part on the page,
Old friends,
Old enemies,
Everyone knew each other,
Now no-one knows anyone anymore,
But that one photo captured it all.
The children that had lost their lives,
The children who were successful,
The children who were distressful,
We all stood there,
Squished together not knowing this might be the last time we see each other.
