I slowly leave my home nest

I see my family waving goodbye.

The wind, my ride to my destination.

The wind drops

I fall onto the highway.

Cars, quick as lightning flash by

I think my life is going to end,

Until the wind picks me up again

I am petrified, where will it take me?

The sun begins to set

I settle down on the nice green carpet of grass

While the dirt envelopes me in its welcoming arms

My eyes begin to close while the wind blows

I wake up to the sounds and smells of vehicles

I wish I could stay sleeping.

There I was going to stay, to grow tall

And take care of our wildlife.
