The Little Black Box

I knew for this I needed no crew,
As the camera started filming,
There is a once in a life time view,
It was definitely thrilling.
Now a big boat was cutting through -
I thought I must have been dreaming,
All of this was a déjà vu-
From that picture on the ceiling,
This shot was just way overdue.
The sky was a nice cobalt blue-
And it was just overwhelming,
This wouldn’t need a peer review,
My face was frozen - beaming.
It's little lights in a vibrant hue,
Captured the world I wanted it to,
This little black box snapped every view,
It took in the world right on cue.
I viewed my world through a lens,
My camera, my true friend.
