The Little Boat

The wind blows, it turns.
Waves ripple and surge.
Stuck out at sea for 500 days.
Alone, through the storms and rain.
Sails still up, agitating in the wind.
No food no water.
The world spinning around.
As weak as a geriatric.
No way to find home.
Asleep, never to wake again.
About to sink like an anchor.
No warmth just cold.
No one on board.
Just the little boat at sea.
Never to be seen again.
Family at the little port waiting for the little boat.
To wait another 500 more.
