The Little Stone

What a sad little stone
That sits on the road alone
As time goes by
I sat with a sigh
As every car goes past
I want to shout "go fast"
If only I had a voice
I could rejoice
A stone was whipped from a tyre
I felt it clip on my desire
To have a mate
This is so great
What a happy little stone
Now I'm not alone
