The water crashes beneath me
As I lay in the swift flowing grass
The turf, soft like a black leather jacket
I could lay here for days
The water faintly splashing on my face
It's a pleasant shower, so nice
You could get lost in it
So I jump in

The water's temperature is so warm, so horrible
But I couldn't be any happier, I'm right where I want to be
The warm water washes against me
And I feel a gust of wind almost push me over
I wade my way just a little deeper
Something touches my leg
What is it?
Could it be? Hopefully not
Oh, phew, it's just some slimy moss, argh it smells so bad
As I begin to get out the water grasps me by the leg and yanks me back in
There truly is no place like the river
