The Magpie

The magpie takes off as the car passes
The wind blows through the grasses
The water is still as a rock
The birds are going to join the flock
The reeds blow in the wind
The plover was resigned
The magpie has its own mind
The pine trees were aligned
They stand straight and still
The magpie watches up on the hill
The smell of the pine
The nice air was fine
The water was as clear as glass
The magpie lands in the dead tree
The water reflects the trees
The fish splashes in the water
Up in the tree the magpie caws
The magpie swoops in
The cars zoom past in the distance
The sun is blinding
