The Moonlit Lagoon

Kangaroos swim across the moonlit lagoon on a warm summer night.
When the moon rises up the mullet jump out of the moonlit lagoon.
Across the moonlit lagoon is the soft, white sand of the immense beach land.
The crashing waves of the ferocious ocean are heard in
the distance over the moonlit lagoon.
As I walk through the moonlit lagoon my feet sink into the soft, wet sand.
I breathe in the salty, night air around the moonlit lagoon.
The scent of the towing eucalyptus trees over the moonlit lagoon
makes me relax into the grass.
My beautiful moonlit lagoon, calm and safe.
