The Murray River

The river flows with the current down the stream,

Carrying boats along the river to places you have never discovered

Boats are like the Titanic to tiny creatures of the waters

Fish flowing down the current in schools

The Murray Cod - the predator of the waters

Crunching shrimps and yabbies for food

Trees falling down into the water making big splashes

Scaring the fish - even the Murray Cod

They will fight for food, won't hesitate to kill other cod

All scared by the beast of the waters

Praying for leftovers, the tiny fish are hungry

But the cod are snatching all of the food and the tiny fish miss out

Cod are antagonists to tiny fish, scaring all the nature away

The turtles are curious to find some food

They can hunt but not quickly enough to beat the cod to the food

Stealing fishing rods from the bank

Costing people hundreds of dollars

People get their payback by catching them and eating them.
