You might get lucky and hear a CRACK
Look down and you might see the smallest kangaroo on the forest floor
Gracefully hopping with all four limbs just like a bunny
Ch Ch Ch the tiny kangaroo digs
Even though it isn't sunny
Underneath the canopy twigs
Modern kangaroos have lost all these traits
This near-extinct species
Wanders and waits
