The Mystery of a Book

When I open the book
it takes me back to a world
that I could only imagine
when I was a little girl.

Some books
make me scared,
like big black grizzly bears
and others keep me
guessing and unaware.

The curiosity of the first chapter
as I am from in to read the first page,
unaware of the cautery future,
the suspense is real to read the next chapter.

When a book comes to an end
it is never really the end
as I can read books
until my heart's content.
