It hangs around my neck,
As precious as a diamond,
Would never forgive myself if it was lost.
Received it as a gift,
A long time ago.
Never parted from it,
Would be heartbroken if I did.
The mysterious anchor which rests within the silver necklace,
An enchanted object,
Worth more than gold to me.
Wondering what it is,
Is always a puzzle.
I have dreams about it at night,
Haunting me from dusk till dawn.
The mystery of the anchor,
I shall never know.
