The new world
By Saima S
Crash, bang, boom
The earth starts shattering into pieces as the oceans cry-filled with tears
Sadness spluttering out to stain the soil and the land we live on
The soil could never sleep
The destruction was growing like us
Deforestation took over
Greedy and furious like a monster
While the kookaburra sits on a burnt stump
The destruction stains the Aboriginal people's heart
With no hope
