The Ocean

As the waves crash
The sea life awakes
The rays of the sun reflect off the water.
The turtle rises.
While colourful clownfish dart in and out of the coral.

The golden sand goes on for kilometres stretching down the East Coast.
As the waves crash looking like a crystal-clear blanket.

The turtle starts to feel hungry.
It emerges from under its green slimy rough rock.
It takes a huge breath
The wind whistles above it.
It starts its search for food.
A plastic bag floats peacefully though the water.
The turtle lays eyes on its next medium rare meal
It goes for the attack.

The plastic bag puts the turtle in a headlock
Only seconds before it dies
Finally, a boat comes and rescues the turtle.
It is thankful.
