The sun,
Pierces the sky, shining as bright as a diamond.
The waves,
Prance along the surface of the water, curling over then splashing.
The sand,
Tickles my feet and shimmers with small yellow fragments.
Children play together, faces glowing with happiness.
They run through the water,
They run over the sand,
Many adults wade through the water, whilst most parents play with their kids,
Spirals of calcium carbonate are scattered around,
As I hold a seashell up to my ear,
I make out the distinguished sound of the ocean.
