In the morning light, the Orange Bellied Parrot soars,

a flash of orange and green flies above the Littoral shores.

The parrot lives in its own cherished place,

that's wrapped in green leaves like a mother's embrace.

Its face with a small streak of blue,

down from the eucalyptus tree it flew.

Its home, needing delicate care,

otherwise the poor Orange Parrot, is left in despair.
