This creature is lying in the safari,

Its fangs bared, smeared black stripes.

It lies, unsure of the next generation to come,

These cruel monsters, humans, are doing nothing to help.

This is the tiger’s stress,

A complete mess.

The tiger pleads for humanity,

Just for the species' sanity.

This creature has to cry,

It needs to pry through the bars.

To break free,

For this animal to have finally glee.
