The Picture in my Heart

Images that are hand sketched
Taken with delicate care
Hand to the person that holds her memories of that day
How she came upon a new friend

This guy was stranger
Than any other person she had met
But still he was as young as a 5-year-old in his heart
And as kind as butterfly in the wind

This day they spend together
Will last longer in this picture of their memories together
How they found superhero coffins
And how we ran around like mad children in an ocean of people

He showed me new things
I was amazed at what he showed me
We ran from stall to stall
That picture please I said

That picture reminds me of that memory
I hanged up on my wall
Every time I look at the picture it reminds me of how I came upon my new friend
And since then we have been best friends
