The plant

Lake water rushing against the shore,
Thinking that this is such a bore,
And not being a gift to nature,
An essential part of the ecosystem,
The water is just the stem of the plant.

The roots are the trees
Who are connected to the leaves,
To shelter,
To provide,
The trees are the roots of the plant.

The leaves are the animals,
Who can be mammals,
With all different specialties,
They protect and deflect,
The leaves are the animals.

The flowers are the people,
Who are all equal,
When it blossoms it creates new people,
They are the flowers,
Who dominate and devour.
