The Praying Mantis

Praying up high on a leaf taking it’s food like a thief.
Camouflage plays even in a garage.
Plant us to the ground where a mantis will come around to mate in the spring where she will bring
(inhales) the next generation the size of a nation living in a gas station not a crustation.
They're an invertebrate don’t be late they don’t need no plate, shut down the hate but wait.
Bugs aren’t scary or cautionary.
Well some of them but some hum like a drum
And couldn’t hurt you if they tried if they did they would have died.
They have lived here for millions of years with some, but little fears.
