The Rainforest

The giant waterfall is like thunder.
As water comes crashing down around me,
The cascade of water makes me wonder:
Would I be able to possibly flee?
All these plants photosynthesise,
They are all covered in this sticky dew,
The beauty of this, they don't emphasise,
I bet most people never had a clue.
Insects scurry on all the branches,
Scavenging for food that might be hidden.
Birdwatchers hide while viewing birds' dances,
Until the only one is a pigeon.
But many people chop down all these trees,
Removing precious food of our good bees.
