The Red Horizon

Shining blue water rushing, foaming as it crashes into the rocks.
Beautifully clear water filled with life.
Tall trees whispering secrets through the wind and creaking with age.
Long winding trails showing the beauty of Queensland.
Endless rivers and bottomless lake surrounded by rock as big as an elephant and trees taller than giants.
A beautiful glow as the sun sets. Lighting the water.
As the sun sets and the water gets cold.
Its time to leave and say goodbye to country.
Red sand covers the road all the way to the horizon.
A last glimpse of the beautiful golden red sun brings the day to an end.
Closing my eyes all I can think about is tomorrow.
