The Ring

She wore the ring every day;
without it she was lost.
When the special lady that gave it to her passed away,
the ring was her connection in her own way.

It was made with love and care
by her grandfather who was no longer with us.
Although the ring was not rare,
it was the most important thing she could wear.

The ring is her protection
and always in her heart.
She still has a special connection
with her granny who showed affection.
