The river

The river tumbles down the rocks

like a meteor falling from the atmosphere.

Hear the sound of a chiming tinkling.

Look out at the winding water, like a

snake speckled with silver and gold.

Follow, follow dodging shrubs

clamber, clamber up the rocks

'til you come to a peaceful place

where the water is a mirror reflecting.
