The Robbery of a Species

Endless wings flourishing in the air.

The colours of the rainbow sparkling in the air... red, blue, jade, green, yellow.

Fires travel the land, destroying everything they pass. Crackling fires, lickling flames, destruction everywhere.

Endless trees fading, nowhere to go, nowhere to hide.

All that remains are burnt trees and ashes.

Death and homelessness.

As I take my last breath, no more colorful wings flashing in the sky... the sky has been robbed of the glittering jewels we once were.

What once was superb is no longer.... goodbye Superb Parrot...goodbye!
