The Rock

I carry it around
It has sat tests
Ran a marathon
Helped me when I was in need
Pocket sized, brown and white
Easily concealed
Glows in the light of the bright, bright night
Sits the oblivious to the out side world
Frozen to the bone
Fog cloaking the surrounds
Trekking along an unfamiliar overgrown track
Exhausted
It lay below me
Settled in the brown rocky mud
Blushing in the day's remaining light
The Rock
The fog began to disembark, like planes from an airport
The Rock truly magical
Always with me
Never say good bye
