The Rough Tree

From a distance… I saw rough bark.

And dark green leaves falling off the tree with a whole chunk of bark with it.

The tree looked as tall as a giraffe.

When I got further to the tree it smelt like eucalyptus leaves.

I heard a loud VROOM! of the lawn mower.

Below the tree I could see rusty old leaves that had fallen off.

Close up… It felt rough like rough pineapples.

I saw leaves falling off the tree like falling mini parachutes.

Above me… I saw branches that were about to fall out of the tree. I heard the birds twitching as loud as they possibly could.
