The reef is full of life, wonder and joy.
Seaweed sweeps down the blue ocean canal.
The fish flutter through the coral, so coy.
They love to explore, go forth they shall.

Towards the trench, something appears far away.
Dolphins prance by the reef, stopping to pause.
A shark is there, looking for a gourmet.
Swimming away, the dolphins flee in fear.

Over the reef, a sense of calm takes over.
The shark is gone, fear washed away with it.
All fish survive, lucky as a clover.
Maybe later, the beast will never quit.

All hope is lost, a net drops to capture.
Soon to come a meal, fishers' rapture.
