The sand

The warm sand slips in my hands like water.
The sun shines on the golden sand like a new car.
When I step on it, I need to hop, hop, hop.
The water pulls me in and spits me out like a human.
It lives on beaches. Without it, we wouldn't have beaches.
It is the home for crabs red, white, orange and pink.
All the crabs scuttle and hide themselves on the beach.
The sand feels relaxing, it covers me while I'm rolling around in the sand The humans crush me into smithereens.
I come in all different types, coral sand, black sand, green sand and desert sand.
I'm very grainy sometimes; when you step on grainy sand, it makes a sound like crush and crunch.
