The sea, the sea

it rages, roars, and rumbles,

yet this is the place for me!

The sea, the sea.

At dawn the sea glistens in the sun

and laying ahead is a day full of fun.

Diving, fishing, and surfing a wave,

giving me memories I will cherish and save.

Surfing a monstrous wave out in the reef,

giving me a rush of grief.

Looking out and being calmed by a pod of whales

and looking below to see a school of sparkling scales.

The feeling of sand tickling my toes

and the salty water up my nose

makes me appreciate the place we live in.

The sea is a special part of nature, for the win.

Home to molluscs, mammals and fish,

humans caring for the environment is my only wish.

Leaving only footprints and taking what you need,
