The sea is their home

As rare as an orange gemstone,

Up to 30 metres long as it soars through the sea.

Swims everywhere but the Arctic,

Their long bodies with slender shape.

Sadly there is only 25,000 of them left swimming. 

Not many of us think about a small act,

If you drop a piece of plastic,

it could affect so many animals.

The sea is their home,

the home of the blue whale.
