The Silent Suffering of Nature

The forest a sanctuary, a massive house
the inhabitants inside, as frail as a mouse
visitors breaking walls at sight
animals inflicted by their unreasonable might
the constant destruction of something defenceless
the humans and machines who are tiring yet relentless
the senseless people who always take
do they know what's really at stake?
the blood on their hands is always there
a chance to clean it but some don't care
the ones who give back have our respect
but those who don't show their neglect
we must stop the misery and destruction, this we vow
we can save our forests but we must start now
