The sounds of nature

I feel my feet dig into the soil
Dew drops moisturizing my skin
I breathe in the fresh,cold air
As I lay back and enjoy the views of the earth.

The swaying branches of the Eucalyptus trees
Look like they’re dancing to
The rhythm of the hummingbirds
Flapping their wings.

I close my eyes
And smell the sweet scents
Of the lavender leaves
Ever so delicate.

The rustling of the trees and the
Sweet chirping of the songbird
Is what makes this world remarkable
And when it's time to go I’ll always remember
The sounds of nature.
