The Storm

The storm rolls in
Lightning flashes across deep blue skies.
Uncontrollable flames burst out,
Heat pours in,
It sticks to your skin.
It runs through the forest,
It looks like it is dancing a rehearsed routine
It sails the trees, leaving charred ashes behind,
The red-hot flames leap from tree to tree,
Trying to find their next victim.
But it will soon be over
And you will have survived.
