The Sunny Sands

Under the sun, calming and warming,
The ocean still and docile,
messing around and playing together,
Beach volleyball, soccer, cricket,
You can do them all here
On the soft sand or collecting shells to give,
The sand is wet, dry or moist
The smell of the sea,
The buzzing of the bees,
The smell of the fish, the taste of the salty sea spray
Or the delicious ice-cream on the pier,
Fish and chips, a classic for Aussies
It all comes together,
