The sun sat atop the trees giving off pigmented light
It seemed to hang there forever,
Giving its light to everyone below.
When you looked away,
It would be a whole new spectacle the next time you looked back.

The pink and purple put all man-made lights to shame.
It gave the feeling that the sun’s rays had no limits,
They could light up the entire universe.
But the beautiful sunset was not guaranteed,
It was a rarity and anomaly.
