The Wall of Remembrance

My painting brings back memories
makes me happy when I am sad.
My beautiful painting you brighten up my day
And sing me to sleep at night.
Painted by my great Aunt,
She painted the grass as green as a lime
You feel as smooth as a dolphin,
You smell as clean as a bouquet of roses,
If you were destroyed I would feel heartbroken.
Almost painted over you,
Begged and begged until I was allowed to keep you.
You remind me of my family.
