We will be leaving nature here some time soon

And when I leave to my earthly roots

All my kids will dig nature's fruit

All seeking nature's boost

Come join, let’s all sing along

All of us have eaten a bit of nature all along

No matter how strong

And from all the lands on Earth we come

I am, you are, we are Australian

I see fires rage

Across a big plain

I see trees become grains

And guns causing pain

Invisible fingers covering my face and hands

I close my eyes, and feel nature around me

Quietness everywhere

I open my eyes and know that nature ends

This poem, the ballad all ENDS…
