The way we treat water

Water is here there and everywhere,
We take it for granted, 
All this water planted, 
When droughts come,
that strikes out the sun,
We realise water wastage is taking the bullet from the gun,
Hear my pun?
And with all this burning,
We start to feel the earth turning,
So give me a pen so I can write out a plan,
People are losing their water rights,
Which makes them want to fight for what’s right.

Water comes in different forms,
Solid, liquid, gas,
Look through the past,
See where we fail,
Farmers losing their crops, 
See what they cop,
It’s over the top,
The animals thirst but when it’s the flood they feel cursed,
The plant will either go dry or die, 
See how they survive?

In the perfect season, they flourish,
Any other time they are banished.
