The Western Australian Outback

The outback bushland of Australia says goodbye as summer brings its worst.
The red kangaroo is a warning of the rough terrain.
The Australian outback is hot like a raging bushfire.
Termite mounds and donkeys in the distance,
the outback is brutal like a barbed wire fence,
as dusty as a tornado.
The raging outback bulls are as rough as rocks.
The big gum is a storyteller of the past.
The emu in the sky appears as the sun says good night.
